Killing two birds with a stone...

Last week, I received 2 great news in the morning. Firstly of course, I don't know if I can consider this as good news. My uncle is planning to sell off his condominium that I'm currently staying in. We are suppose to shift out by the 3rd quarter of this year which is in September! This is such a sudden news. I'm homeless for a moment as the news came to my ears. My brother's house which he bought was under renovation which was unfinished and abandoned for over a year due to some reasons. The supervisor cum my dad was feeling unwell lately and so the project was put on hold. Dad suggested to temporary shift in the house that I bought early last year and which I'm renting out now for a 1 year contract to be discontinued once it's expiring this coming August 31st. Somehow, I felt happy and at the same time felt lost of what to do next. It's just not too far away from now.

HL and I will be nearer to the place we work, Bobbie will be able to stay with us and we can have morning/evening walks in the park. Unfortunately, the timing to shift is not right. We are going to be busy preparing for our wedding this coming September. Guess we will be able to settle down in our new house after our wedding :). It's such an ironic isn't it? Anyways, taking things one at a time as usual...lalala...

The other good news came to me after I received the first news which is meant to be kept as a secret. Can't publish it on the blog as there's lots of eyes reading. Muaha-ha-ha.

I'm a happy girl!

Go-Go-Gohan

It's Friday night and I decided to give HL a dinner treat @ Gohan's. Just to show my appreciation as he has been patiently waiting for me to finish work late at night. Reached Gohan @ Sunway Pyramid at about 8.45pm and it was quite packed with people. I was astonished by how they presented their pastas on the outlet display window. Clever idea to capture people's attention. Vibrant and delicious colours which indeed make people to stop and look.

The display itself is the menu and you can actually decide what to eat when you get in :).

Ah...the desserts are so beautiful...

We didn't wait long until we got our table. Sat down and browsed through their menu and I couldn't decide what to eat! So much choices with over a hundred of pasta dishes to choose from! We finally ordered and waited for our food to be served.

Drinks as usual came first.I had their lemon fizzy drink...tasted ok :) but not fabulous.

Took some photos while waiting...

Wafu is Japanese for “Japanese style”, for example "pasta wafu" is pasta cooked in a Japanese style or to Japanese tastes.

Here comes HL's food. He ordered the Gratin Set RM33.80 - Choice of 1 pasta selection, complete with salad, corn soup and gratin.

HL had Carbonara WARAKU style. Tasted good!

The Gratin is absolutely good! The penne pasta topped with fresh prawns and mozarella cheese was baked to perfection. NICE!

I had their Oyster and Bacon Carbonara topped with yolk & carbonara sauce. I noticed that all their pasta dishes comes together with the yolk top. Something different. Mine was good with all the bacon bits but the big oyster was abit too raw for me :). Don't like the fishy smell...I only manage to ate 2 of the large oyster. HL had the balance.

HL really enjoys his food! Haha...

Look at their dessert menu. Lots of choices but we have to pass the dessert as our tummy was too FULL. Keeping it for our next visit!

Shortlisting...

It has been such a hectic month working in the office without having to find time to update my little blog >_<. You can imagine how ironinc it is spending so much time with my work. Looking at people getting off from work at 6pm to spend quality time with friends and family makes me thinking of...'I wish I could do the same...'.

Sometimes, I would agree that having to face your colleagues everyday in the same office doing the same work routine would somehow make you feel less motivated. I thought that somehow rather I promised myself not to work too hard in this kind of environment, but I'm back to square one! Help me out of this! I need my life back! But I know that someday, somehow, somewhere, I would achieve with what I wanted with my career. Maybe I'm getting old and tired of the long working hours. That's why I told my little sister not to study design although she has interest in it. After seeing me in such condition, she changed her mind and instead take up as a hobby.

I heard a saying - 'the key to failure is to please everybody' which I find it quite true. But I just do whatever I can do best. That's my motto. Haha.

Anyways, I took the opportunity of the long weekend to do some preparations for my upcoming wedding. Took some time on Saturday to do a pre-invitation email blast to my friends. HL on the other hand helped out to do some photo selections for our photo album. Gosh, you can imagine how difficult it is to choose the best 50 shots from over a thousand photos.

Next step is to design the invitation card...wish me luck! and Happy Wesak Day!
