Christmas was just over a month plus ago and in a few more days to come, the Chinese will be ushering the new lunar new year :). As usual, I will be heading back to Melaka tomorrow with my brother for a weeks ho-ree-day. Bought quite alot of CNY stuffs in Petaling Street on Saturday morning. The usual items are chicken/ham 'bak kua', plants & hanging/decorative ornaments. There was a long long que to buy the famous 'Kiew Brothers' bak kua. I too joined in and of course thinking that it would be worth waiting and the 'bak kua' must be so good!
Will be starting to bake cookies...cookies...and more cookies, house cleaning..and preparing for the new year!
To all my friends and family, GONG XI FA CAI and may the year of the golden rat prosper in whatever you do :). To those who are travelling back to their respective hometown, have a safe journey and do abide all the traffic rules.
