Malaysiaku Gemilang

What does our nation independance mean to you? Frankly speaking, I'm glad that I'm staying in this peaceful country for it's multi-cultural food. Haha...I'm such a glutten. No other country can beat our wide coverage of food isn't it.

Enjoy our nation's merdeka day peeps! To all Malaysians, be proud of yourself!

Landlord

Sob~sob~. I'm no longer staying in my own house that I bought recently. Stayed there for a couple of days after all the lighting and fan installation last Saturday. Life to work was so convenient minus all the early morning wake ups, traffic jams and toll. Going to work is like 10 minutes away.(HL was so punctual to work for 5 days)

Handed over and signed a one year contract agreement with my new tenant this afternoon and told them to keep and maintain the house clean. Keeping my fingers crossed that they will take my word.

Will definitely miss my house. Sigh...tomorrow and the days to come with our normal routine again. It will be a draggy start of the day....KL-PJ...PJ-KL

I am officially a landlord! Muah-ha-ha

KUL-BKK - A friendly trip

Fist of all, sorry for the slowwwwww pace of updating my blog for the past few weeks. As usual, tight up with work and settling my new house with basic ammenities before renting out next month to my new tenant. Yes, I'm renting out our brand new beloved house...tsk tsk...

Anyways, here's some photo for thought of our bangkok trip with my fellow buddies. It's a real tiring trip as most of the time we are walking down the streets and trying to cross the ever bz roads of bangkok like mad people. Our patience were even tested when we took their public transportation - the bus. But it's worth the experience that we wouldn't forget. Kakakakak...

Do enjoy the photos here

Congratulations Tan Tan!

MMU's 8th Convocation 2007

Time really pass by in just a glimpse. Back in 2002, I was the 4th batch from MMU and now it's already the 8th. Congratulations to tantan. So sad that I can't make it on this very special event. Hope you love the small gift HL and I bought for you. Here's a poem for you.

Graduation's Reason to Rejoice
Graduation's reason to rejoice,
Remembering what lies beyond our ends.
And so yours gives occasion to my voice,
Delighting in the gift of being friends.
Underneath your pleasure is my pride,
As yours remains the rock on which I stand.
The window through which I can see inside
Is hung upon the mirror in your hand.
One cannot be one without the other,
Nor can we be ourselves without another.

Enjoy your day!

Sawadee-kap

It will be my third time visiting Bangkok. The first was with my ex-company trip, second was with HL after our trip to Cambodia (during the coup) and now with my beloved hubby HL, Dan,Chun and Paul for 3 days 2 nights.

After weeks of non-stop work, it's time to take a break :). Gonna shop, eat and do some sight-seeing. Will need to get up very early on Friday and drive down to dan's place before 6am. Our flight is 8.25am. Keeping fingers crossed so that there will be no delay.

Anyways, will update and post up photos next week. So, tune in!

Nuggets dipping into new sauces....

Mcdonalds' new range of sauces was quite yummy. Love the lemon tango sauce compared to the others. Guess this is the replacement for the sour cream sauce that I love previously. Mmmmm....
