Yummy-licious

Colleague of mine bought this from Kings Bakery!

Ouch!

You probably already know that the guys lost to the girls in Who Wears The Pants on MIX FM. Pietro as representative of his gender has to take on the penalty of getting his chest waxed on air. Enjoy the footage and pictures!

Price Hike in Food!

I recently found that the price of the hawker stalls food have increased tremendously. Last night, I had a bowl of 'Pan Mee' (small) in a hawker center in SS2 and it costs me RM3.50 instead of the usual RM3.30. Not only the amount of noodles is little but the ingredients were also reduced! There are only a few slices of vegetables and a small amount of minced meat and it doesn't taste good and that's it!

That's bright day light robbery in food! Arghh... we must do something about this...but how?. Consumers like us are always at the loosing end.

The making of a couture bride

'The elegant shapes of couture wedding gowns at Eric Choong Brides.'

I wish Eric Choong can sponsor his lovely couture wedding gowns for my wedding. 'Wink wink'...another wish added into my list.

Hail Storm @ SS3

This is no ordinary rain. A hail storm actually took place today at about 3.30pm and lasted for about 15minutes. Small icy cubes came crashing down like little meteorites and melts upon reaching ground. The storm was really really bad as trees were uprooted and telephone polls fell down around the affected area. Was too excited to see such phenomena and I only manage to take this photo when the hail storm ended...sigh~

Happy Mother's Day to My Dear Mum

Happy Mother’s Day to my dear Mum,
Author of my personality:
Pleased, I hope, with what you read in me;
Pleased, I hope, with episodes to come.
Yet now I, too, would get some pleasure from
Making you the book in which I see,
Of all the players in my family,
The central character, whom I would plumb.
How beautiful to move in that direction!
Each to each a separate source of pleasure,
Reading in the other’s happiness,
‘Mid much description, underlying love.
So would we deepen the connection,
Discovering new passages to treasure
As we follow time towards tenderness,
Yearning for what years unread will prove.

Ekidora's New Look

I've been blogging since Oct 2002. That's about 5 years ago. My first blog design was in pink with animated flowers all over the place. Then I moved on to a simpler design and on this day I thought I should 'refurbish' my blog design after 2 years of using the same design.

Well, as usual, I would pick something greenish as my lucky color is green green green! :). Green is just so relaxing and full or life.

Tomorrow is gonna be a Wed-nes-day. Oh Oh...I've finally got the keys of my dream house. So excited to do the renovations, designing and moving in. Wish me luck!

p/s: Thanks to HL's parents, siblings and Tan Tan for helping to clean up the house last weekend!

Just can't wait for the next Prison Break (Season 3) this coming FALL! I spent about 2 days watching the whole Season 2 which was during the 2 days holiday break last week. Talking about couch potato, and I was one last week. Muahaha. It's so exhilarating watching how the FBIs manhunting the 8 most wanted Fox River Prison excapees and in the meantime the convicts are searching for the US5million.

Will be watching Heroes next! :). Heard that it's a good series too.

Weekend Outing to Aquaria KLCC

It was a fun weekend bringing my parents to Aquaria KLCC. It was their first time and my second time visit. I was glad to be able to bring them around to see this amazing 'seaworld'. I've always been wanting to bring my parents out to 'jalan jalan' and 'melancong' but my dad is always bz with his work. He just couldn't let go of his job. Took the opportunity when they are here for the HOMEDEC exhibition in KLCC Convention Centre.

As usual, the weekend is always packed with people. Long ques and of course the crowd. My mom and dad was excited when they had the chance to touch the starfish and fishes with their bare hands :)...and so did I. We went on to see more insects, froggies, lizards, geckos, snakes, mini monkeys, reptilias, fishes and of course SHARKS! and they have jellyfishes now. Spent about 1hour and 40mins. Parents were happy but my dad told me the one in Singapore is better.

And I also took my parents over the weekend to places I love to savour food. Makaned Mushroom Pan Mee Noodles in Lorong Haji Taib, Chicken Porridge & Yong Tau Foo in Jalan Ipoh and Duck Rice in Chow Yang PJ. Yummy-licious!^_^. We enjoyed the whole 2 days alot although it's tiring.

Well, it's Labour Day and Wesak today. Went to the temple in Taman Sea, PJ this afternoon to have some prayers and blessings. Tomorrow will be another non-working day! Wooohooo...Enjoy your holidays peeps!
