DOG PATROL
This canine is taking his job as a guard dog seriously. He has no problems walking along the concrete barrier at his home in Kampung Lapan, Malacca.
Sent in this candid photo yesterday and emailed it to The Star thumbnails and was published in today's newspaper. Unfortunately, the photo didn't win me the RM50 prize :P.
It feels so good when the festive season is here! Would like to take this opportunity to wish all Malaysians are very Happy Deeparaya (Deepavali + Hari Raya Aidilfitri)
... and well of course holidays for me again! Woohoo! Spent the whole Thursday spring cleaning our condo which was very very tiring and the best part is, I was all alone! Haha. Brother went outstation and HL was working whole day >_<. I then spent the whole Friday out shopping for wedding dinner clothing and a pair of shoes. Took the public transportation down to KL coz you wouldn't want to drive down to town on a friday especially when it's still the puasa time and on the eve of deepavali :P. But, as expected, I was sardined inside the ktm, lrt and monorail..OOoOOSH..It was packed...and packed with loads of people. All going for last minute shopping and balik kampung. There are some passengers that couldn't even get out from the KTM to their destination as people keep on pushing to come in. Oh well, typical Malaysian that wouldn't want to give way >_<. Am so sad to see this kind of situation.
Finally I got myself a nice evening dress from the Melinda Looi boutique in Isetan KLCC and a pair of Vinci shoes frm Sungai Wang ( I walked all the way frm KLCC to Bkt Bintang area as the distance is rather near ). Then I took the monorail back to KL Sentral and walked around the area as there were alot of Indian stalls selling flowers, clothings, food..and you can really feel the Deepavali mood with all the Bollywood songs playing in the air:).
Back in Melaka this morning @ 10.30am. Traffic was smooth not until there's an accident of an overturned lorry in the opposite direction lane. And as usual, typical Malaysian drivers who slowed down to KPC what happened which coz a crawl of about 5km...Aduiiiii....
Anyways, for those who are planning to balik kampung, drive safely and enjoy your holidays! :)...
Phew....it has been a week since I started my work back in my new old job in my agency :). Felt abit more happier and contented with what I'm doing now though. Haha..Guess this is my life.
Dun have to worry about being very punctual to work at 9 sharp and being track by the HR people and the way I dress to work. Now I can wear jeans to work and uncollared shirts and no more high heels.
Next week will be in a holiday mood again! Will be off from 18 - 30 OCT!...Wahahaha (Agency not working throughout for about 1 week +).
Heading back to hometown,eat, sleep, bake, watch tv, strolling on the streets/beach and play with my Bobbie. Ah..wat a bliss when it comes to festive season!
Going to pasar malam soon to buy food and buka puasa with my colleagues! Chiao...Selamat Berbuka.
