'Bak Chang' oh....'Bak Chang'....
How I miss my mom's bak changs. If I were back home in Melaka today, I would be helping my mom making it but sadly, I am working over the weekend. Saw the chang's sold in the deli market (big and small ones), price ranging from RM4-RM12. I personally like the nyonya chang maybe because of the frangrant spices that is marinated inside the meat....MmmmMMMmm....
Some people especially HL loves the bak chang with lotsa fats, which he thinks is much more 'juicer and tastier'. Yucks..
I also like the plain mini yellow ones where you go with kaya or gula melaka. Anyways, I know my mom will be keeping some for me in the fridge and I shall be back next weekend to enjoy it! Happy 'bak chang' day to all!....
